Take fantastic holiday photographs E-mail
Written by Baz
After such a great holiday, with amazing people, a fantastic sun tan, after the first few days at home, your suntan tarts to fade, you have a huge amount of washing and ironing to do, and just as you think it couldn't get it any worse, you go to pick up your holiday photographs and they are awful! Photographs are meant to capture great holiday moments, not blurry pictures you hardly recognise.

This article is designed to help you create magical pictures you will appreciate forever.

Before you go on holiday, make sure in advance that your digital camera is in good condition, make sure it is stored in a water resistant and safe case. Make sure you have the correct size batteries for back up, and even more for a back -up of the back-ups. Don't forget the charger and relevant cords. Set your camera at its maximum quality JPEG setting for the highest quality, although it takes up more memory, 10 quality pictures are better than 30 bad ones. Make sure your camera has enough memory, I advise you to take an extra memory card just in case, and you can never be too prepared.

Remember that with a digital camera, you can take as many photographs as possible, and you can always delete the bad ones and keep the better ones. You should always take a few shoots of the same thing. Let your photographs tell a story by creating a visual diary of your trip.

When taking pictures in dazzling sunlight, setting your camera's "fill" or "forced" flash is very supportive, particularly when photographing people. The sunlight can often  make people's faces look unforgiving, casting dark shadows under the eyes and accentuating wrinkles, and that something none of us need!. The daytime fill-in flash will soften the lighting and make the pictures more flattering. Everyone will be grateful for this…trust me!

Now the last step, editing your pictures. They have all turned out great, you have loads of photographs to choose from, all quite flattering and attractive. Crop and enhance the best photos using various software, such as Foto Finish, Photoshop or Ulead, all of theses will make your photographs stand out from the crown, make your pictures look like professionals.

Why not try putting them online for your friends and family to view, r making a calendar, cards and emailing them to everyone you know! Be proud of your photographs!
