Poetry is feeling,
That feeling deep down
Those times that I cry,
I may laugh, or just frown.
You gave me that happiness,
You made me smile.
But now it's all gone again,
Wait again for a while.
For someone, something else
To fill that space.
To make me happy, and smile
And fit into place.
I'm not whole without feeling,
That feeling of you.
But now times are dark again,
There's nothing to do
Nothing to fill the void now,
It's my life's tale.
But I write, and I wait again,
For love to prevail.
