The Rose Stands Alone E-mail
Written by Mini Moo
Just like the rose that craves a shower
It waits an age for one tiny drop,
But this is the rose that time forgot.
It sits in the shade, no light to grow
No food for strength or bloom to show
This is the rose that stands alone,
No one hears it cry or moan,
No one listens to hear it weep
Or feels the pain it has to keep.
It's withered, it's dying inside,
No secrets to keep, nothing to hide.
As it waits an age for one tiny drop,
This is the rose that time forgot.
