Just when you think this country has done everything ludicrous and cant possibly get any more ridiculous, it raises its stupid head and shocks you one more time. Today, that time was for me, when I found our that our Government, in its wisdom, actually PAYS alcoholics £10 a day to buy beer with... yes, you heard right! So, if you are unemployed and fancy an extra £50 a week to blow on beer, simply turn into a piss-head and away you go... instant pay rise!
What a complete fucking joke this country is honestly. Have you ever heard anything so absurd in your whole life, as giving people with a drink problem, more money to go and buy beer with. Yeah... that's going to REALLY help the problem that is, you daft twats! Why not give a suicidal man a gun while you are at it??
I really do feel like banging my head against a brick wall when I hear about this kind of thing. Is it only me on this planet that can see sense or something? This whole saga is no doubt the work of some "do good-er" who has analysed a few drunk people and come to the conclusion, that for some odd reason, its better to give them money than to actually encourage them NOT to drink.
Am I honestly the only person that thinks this is completely mental?
I thought I had seen everything but this takes the biscuit. Even my 4yr old nephew can pick up on simple logic like if something is causing a problem, you remove the problem... you do NOT go out and give them the means to make the problem worse. These arseholes who passed this at government level need removing from their positions of responsibility before they do even more damage.
Tell ya what, why don't you give me £10 a day for NOT being a tosser and drinking myself into oblivion? I have cost the country a lot less than these people in my lifetime. The only illnesses I have had, are genuine, not self inflicted. So why don't I deserve £10 a day? Oh no, that's right... to make me feel even better, its MY fucking money that's being used to pay them with.
Ive never heard anything so completely stupid in all my life, although I shouldn't really be shocked these days. We live in a country full of arsehole politicians who wouldn't know real life if it jumped up and slapped them. They need somebody to give them a wake-up call before its too late.
