Cup of Tea? £12.50 please!

Billy, who is something of a local and national celebrity, has appeared on TV more times than most people will ever see in their lifetimes. Why? Because he loves a laugh and a joke and refuses to be boring... like most people these days, lets face it.

The 1950's rock and rolling Billy, has been on the TV having led his eccentric life for years now. He lives in a home which is almost like a living museum of the 1950's complete with authentic 1950's furniture. If thats not enough, Billy himself dresses, sings and lives in the 50's still! Now there is dedication!

Billy who comes from Audlem in Cheshire, has done many stunts in the past and all in aid of raising cash for charities. So, it comes as no suprise that the cash made from the cup of tea he sold on the online auction website, Ebay, has been donated to charity. The "Nice Cup Of Tea" was sold for an impressive £12.50 and could possibly be the most expensive cup of tea in history!

We caught up with Billy, who had this to say about his latest foray into the public eye:

"I thought it would be a giggle and at the end of the day, what harm does it do to make people smile? And its all for a good cause. If its a crime to want to make people happy, then im guilty... take me away!"
