Mobile Phones being Mobile

I thought it was illegal to use a mobile phone whilst you were driving? It is? Then I wonder why, when I travel in any direction from my house, when I've gone no more than a couple of miles I see people using their mobiles while they are driving?

To be honest, I havent even got to leave my house, I can see them on their phones as they drive past! I really feel sorry for the people whose lives have been wrecked by other drivers killing their friends or relatives while they were on their mobile. Imagine how it must feel for them to be driving along and see the tosser in the on coming vehicle on the phone.

Why dont the police catch these people? I know some of you out there are saying that it would be hard to do....not really. I mean, if I drive about and I see them then surely the police can do the same. No, I dont mean in a police car, I mean in an un marked car. And another thing that winds me up...smokers...I know Ive had a rant about them elsewhere but I mean smokers who drive.  Ive never smoked and if you dont, try this experiment next time you are behind the wheel of your car.

Try holding the steering wheel with your little finger, your third finger and your thumb. How can you be in complete control of your vehicle, its not easy. And Ive seen people on the mobile with their other hand! I wonder why we have a lot of accidents........Hmmmmm
