Old lady Gangs take over Shopping Centres I am sure there is a conspiracy going on in my local town. If normal people dare to go shopping on a Wednesday morning they are faced with a wall of tweed coated, blue rinsed bargain hunters. I am starting to wonder whether the local shops have laid on a bus that picks them all up takes them to the post office to collect their pensions and then drops them in town, on the understanding that they all shop together and do not split up under any circumstances. It is impossible to get past them when they move up the shop isles in 3’s comparing the prices of every single object. If you say “excuse me” they are either deaf or pretend not to hear. They take so long at the till because they have to convert everything into Old money and back again before they are happy that they have the right change! I am not sure who is more scary, the hooded chavs or the Pensioners prowling in packs! Only registered users can write comments.
