Send no money... NOW!! E-mail
Contributed by Gloop
So I thought, "I'll go out tonight". By that I dont mean I was on fire and if someone didn't put more coal on then I'd be just a smouldering heap on the floor, no, I mean I was going to go out, out. This was at 8 in the morning and I hadn't been out for a while and was looking forward to it. But, something happened that morning to change all that.

The postman came. By that I dont mean..........you know what I mean. Anyway, he pushed an envelope through my door. One hell of a trick, I haven't got a letterbox!! I picked it up and opened it, now then, you must have had one of these...."SEND NO MONEY....NOW" Did you hear that? SEND NO MONEY...NOW.

Think about it......I did, in fact, I'm still thinking about it. To be honest, I dont think I've slept much since I recieved the thing. Right, here goes, the company who sent me this (no names mentioned) have given me an order, one which, because they wrote it in big shouty letters, I felt obliged to carry out. They have told me to do something, they told me to send something to them. OK so far I thought. I must send them no money.

Problem number one, although I have no money, I cant see it because it isn't there, so getting it and putting it in an envlope proved to be a bit of a task. Then I had an idea, perhaps they mean a blank cheque, because there's no money on them is there, but a couple of friends put me off doing that. (Funnily enough, one of them is my bank manager) So in the end, I settled for putting the money I havent got, after I didn't get it out of the biscuit tin with a rather fetching picture of Terry Wogan on that I also haven't got, from my non existent Welsh Dresser, into the envelope they so thoughtfully provided. So, there we are, no money ready to send.

The second problem I had then was the other shouty demand they made ....they said I had to send it "NOW". What did they mean by that? Did they mean NOW as in, right this minute, or did they mean NOW as in when they wrote it, which of course was then and not NOW. As I'm writing this, its NOW NOW and not NOW then so if then was NOW then how can NOW be NOW when it was then and not what it is NOW which is....you've guessed it....NOW! Or is it then NOW  or the other way round which is WON. Well, anyway, they won in the end because they got me all confused and that.

If your interested, I didn't send them NO MONEY...NOW so I'm just waiting to see what they dont send me back. I wont keep you not posted.
