Single Mothers on Benefit

Single mother gets new pushchair and new house while I struggle because my husband works.

When I was expecting my third child, my husband was working and earning good money and I was working part time, we owned our own 3 bed semi and struggled with the mortgage payments every month just like everyone else who was working. There was a girl living down the street with 3 children and no husband, I knew her a bit only because her children played in the street and came to me when they cut themselves or were hungry, poor things … I knew they all had different Dads and their mum was on benefits.

Anyway … she was pregnant at the same time as me, her 4^th, and my 3^rd. I really wanted a new pram but as finances were a bit tight I had to make do with the one we had had for 7 years since my first son was born.

But guess what …. The babies were born and who walked down the road with a brand new pram??? Not me!!! Who got moved to a 4 bedroom house with rent paid by the tax payer??? NOT me!!! I had to struggle on …. 2 boys sharing a room and a clapped out old pram while my husband paid a fortune in taxes to keep the likes of that single Mother!

I don’t understand how or why these people think the rest of us owe them a living!! If you can’t afford another baby DON’T have one!!!!!!!

Does anyone agree????

These days you're better off being on the old-king-cole that what you are working!!...I have a full-time job and have to pay a mortgage, full council tax, school meals, pay for my own repairs to my house, the list goes on. If on the other hand i was on the dole I'd get all these things paid for me by the other mugs who go out and work in this shite country.
