Hold on, before you jump to conclusions, that doesn't stand for Underpants Fall Often. (Although I suppose it could) No, what I mean is Unidentified Flying Objects of course. Now then, have you ever seen one? I have but Im not saying Ive seen a Flying Saucer from a galaxy far far away, no, what I saw was a U.F.O. as in unidentified.

 

Beam me up Scotty!

It would be easier to tell you what it wasn't because I know that. It wasn't a Plane, Helicopter, Glider, Hot Air Balloon, Micro Lite, Bird, or  Booglefloaters. (Made the last one up) When I saw it ( I should say we because I was with a friend who, at the time was a total sceptic when it came to U.F.O.'s ) it was roughly 200ft in the air, it was a summers night at about 10pm and so was quite dark, and this thing was floating across the sky. It looked, for want of a better description, like an on coming car with it's headlights on.

We watched it glide silently away.That was one of the first things that was strange, it made no noise at all. Anyway, we tried to follow it in my car but lost sight of it 10 or so minutes later as it started to rise up and away. Later in the night, about 45 minutes later, we saw it again but this time it was much higher than before because it looked quite small. Also, this time it was hovering.

It stayed like that for about 15 minutes until a plane approached it and went past it. Then this U.F.O. followed along side it for about 5 seconds and then flew upwards at a great speed. My friend, who was until this, a non believer, is now a believer! As a footnote to this, someone I know has a friend who works in a control tower in an  Airport not far from where this incident took place. He say's the pilots on the plane that night reported seeing something but would'nt say anymore than that!! Hmmm, what's going on out there?
