Brutal My Arse
Brutal My Arse!!
So a group of UK soldiers decided to beat a few Iraqi lads up. And the problem is?

I'm not being funny but its a bloody war for gods sake. Not a picnic. If we want to go wading into a foreign countries, then it goes without saying that at some point, people are gonna get a little bit pissed off with us. And fair comment I guess.

But, if we are going to bomb the arse out of a inferior military power, then its hardly seems important that we beat up a few Iraqi teenagers with sticks. I mean come on! You see worse than that outside most pubs on a Friday night!

Should the soldiers be punished? Well of course not! Lets look at it another way... 2 minutes before, the very same lads who got a pasting, were slinging house bricks at the soldiers. Now if one of those very same bricks had landed in a soldiers face and blinded him for life, then would the human rights brigade be preaching to us then? Doubt it. You could also look at it another way... what if those lads had managed to get their hands on one of the soldiers? Would they have tickled him to death? I think not. He would likely have been dragged to some remote building and held captive and tortured.

At the end of the day, if these little shits wanna play big boys games, then they have to accept big boys punishment and that's exactly what they got. All is fair in love and war!

I'm right behind you there Baz...instead of some of the papers getting behind our lads, they jump on any bit of news they can, hoping to make a fast buck out of it and as for the shocking reality that one of them who was filming was...wait for it...swearing...oh no shock horror. Its called reality you morons, this language goes on everywhere, everyday in every city...the fact that this was caught on a mic doesn't mean a damn thing.

shouldn't have happened

i just think it all goes to prove that we should never have gone to war with Iraq in the first place. Saddam Hussain was a cruel, cruel man but we had no right to invade the country under the false pretences Blair preached and conned us all with.If we hadn't followed Bush like his british bulldog lapdog that we are fast becoming then this debate woudnt be happening.
