 | | Innit mate.. innit!! | You cant have failed to notice in recent years, younger folk have changed from innocent, playful, slightly mischievous little buggers, into completely arrogant, obnoxious, know-it-all, selfish arseholes.Of course, this is quite a generalisation, however, in the vast majority of cases it is true. These yobs terrorise old and young people alike (they arent really fussy which) and generally stroll around with this arrogant air of authority around them. And why is this? Its because they are left to get away with it, by ever-more apathetic adults. We moan and complain about it, yet allow them to walk all over us on a daily basis.
So, why have we become such a moaning, yet inactive nation? We complain and grumble yet never actually act. The answer is simple... we have turned into a nation of lazy folk. We would rather sit in our armchair and moan about it, than go and confront the yob who is throwing traffic cones all over the street, or kicking peoples fences in "for a laugh". To a point, you can understand people not wanting to confront these layabouts. I have seen an incident which suprised me recently, but looking back, I shouldnt have been too shocked at all really. A group of lads were sitting on a bench, basically ridiculing all passing folk. One man, in his early 40's id guess, had the guts to approach the yobs and express his disgust at something they had said to his wife as they passed by. Upon him confronting them, one of the yobs (about six foot... as they all are these days!) stood up and squared up to the man. It was only when his "crew" stepped in and dragged him away, that the yob relented and backed down. I was shocked, and i'll tell you why.... When I was a kid, we were brought up with respect for our elders. God help me, if I had squared up to somebody who was an adult. Even if I HAD of beaten him in a fist fight, my parents would have still leathered me for my trouble, and possibly disowned me. Why? simply because its disrespectful. when I was young, if an adult came over to you because you were being rude or too loud, you used to run like mad and hope to hell he never caught you. NEVER would we confront the man. Now, the yobs feel they have "rights" to "stand their ground" and all the rest of the cliche bollocks they come out with to justify their arrogant actions. Basically, these arseholes care about nobody but themselves and their image. They couldnt POSSSIBLY back down, not even to an adult. Why? Because their "crew" would never forgive them. Grow up you stupid arseholes!! Your so-called mates will drop you like a sack of shit once they grow up and find some tart to shag. Remember that... because it WILL happen. So then where will you stand when your mates have all got bitches and you are all on your lonesome walking down the street. Maybe then, when you bump into the older chap you insulted last month, you will wish you hadnt. thats the thing with kids these days (and they ARE kids, even though they hate admitting it)... they are very brave in their little groups. But, you get them on their own and they are nothing. They wouldnt say "boo" to a goose. So kids... thats right.. kids, why not respect people more, drink less, smoke less and spend more time being nice instead of some arsehole who has nothing better to do than sit on a street corner bothering passers-by for no reason. And as for us adults... if a teenager were to give you trouble in the street and provoke you, I have a simple solution. Walk straight over to them, dont speak a word, and smack them right between the eyes. I can almost guarantee their mates will shit themselves and run off, and the one who got belted will sit their crying. Ive done it myself so I know. All the bravado just melts away when they know you are not afraid to fight back. The kids rely on the fact that the law works in their favour all the time. They hit you, and they get a slapped wrist and a job in some institute for "naughty boys" (awwww!)... whereas you hit them and you are slammed up in jail. But, personally im too proud to let that bother me. God help the spotty, arrogant youth that provokes me in public. I will kick the living shite out of him, simply to make a point. Why? Because if they wanna play the big boy... then they have to learn to play using big boys rules. Only registered users can write comments. Please login or register. |
