Ever heard of the song "Stupid Girls" by Pink? I've had my chances to hear it over and over again and also see the video several times. I think that more people especially girls need to really listen to the things she sings about. For some time now I have been real tired of the images that stars like Britney Spears are portraying. A girl eager to take off all the clothes for just the little extra time in the spotlights of media. First they start out like a teenage-star that sell on the Lolita-look. Then when the age on their passports start telling the truth about them not being a teenager anymore and after this they go out and tell the media about their new look that is 100% sexed up. Now everyone can see that they have grown, but to my mind only body-wise. Because brain-wise nothing have happened. They sell on being stupid and just into fashion and tell the media that they just love being able to buy D&G shoes. In the 1970's most women on this planet that lived in the western civilisation were fighting hard to get their posts in the government, burning bras, trying to make a huge difference to this globe. Most of those women are just terrified by this new "sexy-stupid I just wanna please the men" girls out there that do not seem to have any kind of ambitions. Then Pink came along making a new video and a song about this all. This was the opportunity to make a difference again. All women out there who likes to do and be other things in life. Go on with the dream. Like Pink says "it is possible to be smart and sexy at the same time". I for once think that it is possible to be sexy and fully clothed too. Because what is so sexy about showing off all the skin you have? We are living in a time where fantasy, dreaming and such are just a thing in the past. If you want to see naked girls all you have to do is use Google and you can find them. But what if more girls took their life a bit more seriously and started a life doing good things? What if girls were becoming Commander in Chief or Prime minister? Could girls rise up and take no more dirt thrown at them? Could we stay strong, beautiful, happy and the way we are and getting across with our ideals and brains? I think we can and I think it is time for a revolution now. Unstupid yourself girls out there! Together we are the best. Only registered users can write comments.
